Hello Everyone! This morning we left Messiah College for our adventure! At 7:30 this morning we left for the Baltimore Airport. Our first flight went smoothly as we traveled to Miami. Once we got to Miami, we had about four hours until our connecting flight. While waiting we filled our time with card games and a fun lunch at a Cuban restaurant where David helped us out with the right menu selections. Later we boarded our flight to Panama. We arrived in Panama around 8:30. We gained an hour once we arrived at Panama. After we went through immigration and customs at the airport we met up with Marianella and David who are host SCORE missionaries. They helped us to a small bus that hauled us to where we would be staying. We wrapped up the evening by separating our donated items for each day. Tomorrow we will be visiting a Kuna church where Coach VanPelt will be speaking to the people and Taylor M will be sharing her testimony at the end. After church we will be sharing a meal provided by the church members. Also, we will be playing games with the children. Please be praying for this experience as we minister to the people of the Kuna church. We are very excited for our first opportunity to interact with the people! P.S. To Mrs Groff & Mrs. Fernandez: Taylor and David are safely in Panama.. They are sorry they could not text you and they love you very much! P.S.S. Happy Anniversary to Mrs. VanPelt!!
Tots and mom love and miss you!

My dearest David, what capable hands you must have to also keep a watchful eye on Taylor AND be a shoulder to lean on for Jeremiah! :) I will certainly keep that favor in mind as a prepare both a Halloween treat bag for you and a batch of homemade goodies for the first week at Messiah. - Thank you Florida Son.
ReplyDeleteTo all of you, you may feel you are walking on unchartered water this week BUT our God is walking WITH you and he will bless you for your efforts no matter how uncertain you may feel. You are doing a good work and he has your week already planned - trust in him.
Coach VanPelt - thank you for your work.
Jeremiah, praying for you as you work and your knee.
David and Derek - I know you are the right men for the job and I'm proud you for giving your time this week.
And Taylor...I love you more than you can comprehend. I'm very proud of you and I will forever be your biggest fan. Chin up and make a difference!
